At its first meeting since the 2003 Annual General Meeting, the Council of the Commonwealth Games Association of Jersey has voted, in principle, to support the creation of broadly based focus groups in order to review the constitution of the Association and its selection and appeals procedures.

The completion date of these reviews has been set for mid Autumn 2003. The two focus groups will then report back with their recommendations to the Council.

The President, Mr. Martin Hebden and the Secretary, Mr. Alan Cross will attend the European Group meeting on the Isle of Man from the 12 th to 14 th June and the Association's Secretary will also attend the Commonwealth Games Federation Annual Congress in Jamaica from 11 th to 14 th November.

The Association has accepted an invitation to visit the 2010 bid city of Hamilton, Ontario, Canada at the end of this month and will be represented, on this occasion, by its President.
