Media Release from Pune - 10th October 2008

We are pleased to announce that Zane Duquemin has been chosen as flag bearer for the Jersey Team in the Opening Ceremony of the 3rd Youth Commonwealth Games, Pune on Sunday 12th October 2008.

We are also pleased to announce that Scott Clayton has been chosen as Water Bearer for the Jersey Team in the Opening Ceremony, which will include a mingling of the water from each of the countries present at the time of the arrival of the Baton.
The Ceremony promises to be an extravaganza of colour, light and movement taking place in a packed stadium of over 20,000 people. We understand that it will be attended by the President of India and teams from 71 countries and territories will be represented.
