Lawn Bowls

Bowls Jersey was incorporated in the Royal Court of Jersey on 22 nd October, 2004 and is the result of a merger of Jersey Bowls Association and Jersey Women’s Bowls Association. Jersey is the first of the northern hemisphere nations with separate men’s and women’s associations to merge.

There is a total of 950 members spread amongst 5 affiliated clubs who each have their own green. Jersey Bowls Club, Les Creux Bowls Club, St Brelade Bowls Club, St Saviours Bowls Club and Sun Bowls Club. There is also two affiliated clubs who share greens and have members drawn from the other 5 clubs. These are Post Office Bowls Club and Grainville Ladies Bowls Club.

The oldest club JBC was founded in 1912 and the newest Les Creux in 1999.
